Thursday Sept. 3

 Good afternoon!

This morning we arrived to a new seating plan! It was so exciting to meet our whole class! Many of us recognized some friends from our grade 1 class or from other grade 1 classes last year.
Ask me who I sat beside today and something that I know about them.

We spent some time getting to know one another and then worked on a name plate of our favourite things.

Wemberly Worried - We read the book again and then had a class discussion.
What were some things that Wembery worried about and what did she do to handle them?

All About Me Page
We created a page that will go in our visual journal that represents us. We drew a self portrait and then drew and wrote about our favourite activity and color, our family, our name and age. 
Ask me what I wrote about.

Which One Doesn't Belong
Mrs. Taylor's class Used their our critical thinking skills to figure out which one did not belong. We then had to justify (explain) our answer.
Ask me which one I think doesn't belong and why.

** Please remember to send a water bottle each day to school with your child - only the water bottle filler is open - our water fountain for drinking is closed :)
